Day 350 I do have to say that some of my favorite pictures I’ve taken have been on glasses/sunglasses. It’s something about the lenses that make awesome reflections and that catch light so beautifully. These are a pair of Tim’s sunglasses and I love them. I love the contrast between the table and the reflection of light in the lenses. It’s funny when I look back at this project from the very beginnings I see how much my perspective has changed and also my techniques. Since the weather turned cold I’ve been using my flash in ways I had never tried before but I love the results as I go. It is making me think about how if I was in a studio with lights I would want to position them to get the same results. This practice that I do every day has changed even the portraits I’ve been taking through this year. It’s amazing what this project has done for me. I can’t believe I only have 15 days left. I need ideas for next year.
